Many people still don’t believe that the new operating system’s taskbar was completely rebuilt from the ground up, and that it is just a redesigned version of the one seen in previous Windows editions.
Officials from Redmond, on the other hand, consistently claimed that the taskbar had merely built up on previous versions, and even supplied confirmation in the Dev Channel build changelogs.
Users, as previously said, vehemently disagree and adhere to the above-mentioned idea. To be honest, the old tooltip designs that are still there inside the OS are fueling all of this debate.
Indeed, as the picture in the Reddit thread above shows, there are some old parts that appear at times, but this is due to the fact that the operating system is still new and being customized.
Even if you completely rebuild the code and restructure a whole operating system and all of its components, you still need a foundation on which to build.
Fortunately for Microsoft, they already had a template for what Windows 11 was meant to be, so it was only logical that it would include some of the tooltips from its predecessor.
According to what we’ve seen so far this month, the new operating system will also get updates on Patch Tuesday, which takes place on the second Tuesday of each month.
All of these outdated tooltips may be phased out in the near future, allowing developers to focus on giving Windows 11 the fresh, new feel that customers seek.
Until then, keep in mind that there are a few ways to modify your taskbar and make it seem more unique.
You may either make it translucent, pin the Recycle Bin to it if you want a clean desktop, or just relocate the Start menu to it.
